animation classes are always in use during the day which leaves animation students with little to no time in the studio. This is especially bad because animation requires special expensive equipment which the students don't have and are not able to take home from school either.

It's rather unfortunate that the School is cutting down on the usage of its facilities. This will put tremendous pressure on the students for complete their coursework and other academic activities.

This is extremely limiting and unfair for the students working a full time job on top of the school.

Literally how can most students make deadlines without the 24 hours studio access?

I am signing this petition as a concerned supporter of the arts. If SAIC wants their students to succeed, allow 24hr studio time!

Please don’t take away 24 hour accessibility to a creative third space for SAIC student!

The best part of being in a studio course, and when students are enveloped in their practice is after hours, quiet focused work gets done in these hours. Taking this away from students with no alternative is wrong. My tuition should not be what it is if this remains in place, SAIC needs to prioritize this or I’m transferring

Saic barely gets federal funding compared to other colleges. It’s a sliver in the bucket. Cut the president’s 6 figure salary and find the money.
