The Allen Eagle football team has done something that few high school football teams in the state of Texas have ever done....won 2 Division 5A State Championships within a span of 4 years. The 2012 season was especially sweet as the team won their state championship with a squad that in most pre-season polls was not picked to even contend. As a result, the city of Allen and all it's football fans embraced the team like no other city can and city pride was at an all time high as the Eagles dismantled each of their opponents en route to a 2nd State Championship. Let's create a symbol of this city's pride for it's high school and the Allen Independent school district in general by having all Allen water towers decorated with artwork recognizing these state championships by the Allen Eagle football teams from 2008 and 2012....they should also be painted with room to add additional championships in the future!
