The emails I receive from parents and students tell stories of deep pain that confirm why this work needs to happen. I am spending my evenings drafting formal requests for school boards to review their current policies. The progress is slow and the resistance is heavy but I have no intention of walking away from this.

Reaching this milestone feels heavy because it highlights how many people carry these wounds every day. I am exhausted by how long this fight has taken but I will not put it down.

I completely agree with this. As a student that is overweight, and is bullied by it, I think that this is a wonderful idea.
Thank you for sharing this excellent idea to transform schools into safe and happy places for ALL students and staff, not just the "beautiful" people.

kids are so cruel these days and nobody ever seems to do anything about it. my daughter deals with this constant teasing and it breaks my heart.
I completely agree with this. As a student that is overweight, and is bullied by it, I think that this is a wonderful idea.
