Please sign our petition to voice our need for Algoma University to hire more full time professors. Students were told there would be 30 professional years spots to apply for and were sadly misinformed due to the complexity of the accreditation process. We the undersigned feel that it is Algoma University's duty to meet accreditation requirements.
The emails I receive from students struggling with this uncertainty are heavy to read. I am spending my evenings documenting these experiences for the administration because they need to understand that this is not just paperwork for us. We are staying on this until there is an actual plan for the faculty we were promised.

Total incompetence. How do you promise spots and then fail the accreditation process at the last second?

This is ridiculous. We pay enough tuition that the school should be able to afford the staff required for the program to function properly.

Fix this. Students are getting screwed over last minute and it is not fair to anyone.

Get some more profs in there. The BSW program is way too important to be run like this.
