It's vital to our economy that these businesses are supported.

Take industry and small business out of London, it means London will have no work, therefore no point in residential property.

Ordinary people need jobs rather overpriced homes. Work spaces are vital for job retention and creation. In this particular development the plans are architectural vandalism.

Business need space to provide local jobs. Just as other buildings inspire this should be the case with industrial spaces as well. I object to the development of Algha Works.

A unique survivor from the area's manufacturing heyday, still producing a quality product. More high end flats would be a scandalous exchange for the loss of this remarkable business.

There are many facets to this case, not least the architecture which is very a very stylish solution to the construction of an industrial building with plenty of light and space for machinery and workers, the integrity of design would be destroyed by building another storey on top of the present structure, not to mention the impact it would have on a unique design and manufacturing business.

The Algha Works is a beautiful building depicting the solid style of structure for the 1908 industrial period we should therefore continue to save the very few buildings of this style. Just as we save Hampton Court and other older structures.

The voices of many ordinary people, especially those who choose to live and work in this area, should far outweigh the obvious greed of a handful of fat cats.

This building needs to be preserved. London needs work spaces as well as living space!

This is an important building architecturally and historically and any such alterations as proposed in this applcation will be to the detriment not only of the building itself, but also,to the livelihoods of those who work there. I urge you to refuse this applicatin.

Keep parts of Fish Island for their original purposes....making things! Once manufacturing is lost here, it's lost. Any number of unaffordable bijoux flats won't create or preserve jobs

"Too big to fail" was a catchword for the banking collapses around 2008 and is being used again about the Hinckley Point Nuclear Power Station. A similar phrase applies to this factory and what it DOES. Too unique, too important, too valuable to be allowed to go to the wall or be forced to close.

Please don't allow this heritage building to be destroyed. There are too many expensive flats in London. Ordinary people need jobs and affordable housing in London.

Please understand the importance of preserving this building. But even more vital save this unique workshop and the skills which are rare and irreplaceable.

Important to keep the mixed use character of the area and to preserve one of the last working buildings of its kind in London
