change the arena name to Alfie Gregg memorial. He has done everything for this town. Hockey, baseball helping kids get hockey equipment. You name it he helped out. He was a great man and needs to be recognized.

this is a no brainer!! Brighton arena has always been Alf's second home so it already is the "Alfred Gregg Memorial"

Sad to hear the loss A great guy. I learned a lot about hockey from him and just hearing his name makes me think of Brighton minor hockey

Alfie helped so many people with getting skates and equipment when they couldn't afford much... It would be nice to see the community give back in some small way.

I am not sure if I still have any say, since I am no longer a resident of Brighton. But, Alf coached me when I was young and we talked over the years when I was at the arena. I think this is a great proposal for a great man.
