We the undersigned would like the AIBA and IOC to launch a full enquiry into the inconsistent scoring and officiating which has robbed many boxers off potential medals. We would like to point out in particular the injuustices done against the French team, and unjust favouritism of hometown heroes such as Zou Shiming. We also think action should be taken against the \'qualified\' Chinese referee who robbed Alexis Vastine of a Gold Medal by giving his opponent 4 points, even though it seemed he was the one who was holding! He was throwing wild shots and only won because he wore a Chinese flag poncho. Also, why were jabs not scored by non-Chinese boxers The AIBA must investigate the actions of the officials involved, and the referee who robbed Vastine must never be allowed to officiate again at an international tournament! His position is untenable. The scoring in general has been dubious. Even in fights where the Chinese boxer clearly won such as the Murray fight, had everything given to the hometown hero but the visitors had to work for their points. Obviosuly after each round this could change the outcome. Something needs to be done not just to protect the credibility of the sport but the credibility of the hosts too.
