The BBC has confirmed that Alexandra Legouix will step into the hosting role for Top Gear. We shifted the internal conversation by presenting our case directly to the production executives. I will monitor the upcoming production announcements to ensure this commitment remains firm.
The latest surge in momentum has prompted a formal request for a meeting with BBC production executives. I am currently drafting a letter that outlines Alexandra Legouix's qualifications for the role. I will provide an update once I receive a response regarding a potential discussion.

Yes- Al actually knows and loves anything with a motor - unlike the usual female fluff they stick on car shows.

Al's hugely talented and engaging with an appetite to experience everything life has to offer. Al is passionate about all things that move fast. A real petrol head with a good soul! I love to watch Al in front of the camera... Such a natural star!

I have directed Alex on several occasions, most recently on Peoples Of Israel documentary and she is a consummate professional presenter in the toughest of working conditions. She is also a complete petrolhead!
