The STARR should not be a reflection on the Principal, but the individual students and their parents commitment to their education. Furthermore, when a school receives and above average score as a whole, that should be sufficient for the district.

Dear Aledo, TX Superintendent and School Board,
Please do not allow Jason Beaty to resign as principal of McCall Elementary School. Mr. Beaty is an asset to AISD. The teachers, students and parents of students value him greatly and you will do a disservice to us all if you accept his unwarranted letter of resignation.

Mr. Beaty is the epitome of a fantastic principal. Compassionate, hard working, knowledgeable, and dedicated in heart, mind and spirit. Loosing him would be a tragedy for Aledo ISD. This is flat out unacceptable!

We love McCall and see the awesome team, wonderful atmosphere, great staff, well rounded advanced learning environment and character building skills all lead by Mr. Beaty.
He exemplifies a team spirit with the utmost in leadership, humility, honesty and is much more than just the Principle at McCall Elementary !

It's disheartening to learn that such a remarkable principle, educator and man has resigned! Our children are the ones who will suffer in the end. Disappointed in our public school officials.

Mr. Beaty is a man and leader who cares about our children and their future. I have often heard him share with students the importance of getting a good education but also to be a good example to others. He encourages our kids to make wise choices and be respectful. All things he says and does is in a caring and loving manner. He truly is a one-of-a-kind principal. I believe the reason McCall students have such a good reputation is because he pours into them, what it means to not just be intelligent, but how to act and live in a way that exudes integrity. Please keep Mr. Beaty at McCall!

I have two daughters. One has attended McCall and the other still attends that school. Mr Beaty has been a positive influence on my girls and they have greatly benefited from him. No matter whom you choose as his replacement, you will never get the type of man of character that he is.

McCall Elementary is known far and wide as THE BEST school bar none.
Credit for this is due to the unparalleled leadership of Mr. Beaty. His staff admire him and the students and their families adore him. He treats everyone with respect and dignity. Please do the same for him. This community needs Mr. Beaty!

Mr. Beaty and his family have the same beliefs in which we agree and support. I'm privileged to have worked for him when he was an Assistant Principal. We are saddened for him and AISD that he had to come to this decision at all.

Mr. Beaty is an amazing leader and has made McCall what it is today with the team he has developed at this school. Its a big loss to Aledo that he will no longer be the principal at McCall. I can't imagine McCall without him. Now more than ever it is important to have his experience and tenure as McCall enters a new year with so many new students and changes.

Mr. Beaty is a consummate professional and wonderful administrator/leader. It would be a tragic mistake for his resignation to be accepted. The real victims of this tragedy are the McCall Elementary staff and future students.

Mister Beaty is the keystone of an excellent elementary school. He provides fantastic levels of leadership and support to his students, teachers, staff, volunteers and parents. To let him go is to forfeit one of our community's true gems. If you're a decision-maker reading these comments, then please make your compelling reasons to not renew his contract highly public. Over-communicate them to the McCall Community, because we're holding you accountable for what we consider an awful decision.
