Formal confirmation arrived regarding the new ALDI development in Granville. We are shifting our focus to tracking the site construction timeline and ensuring the project remains on schedule.
The petition hit five hundred signatures earlier today. I have begun drafting a formal letter to the ALDI regional office to present our case for a Granville location.

We are approaching one hundred signatures and need to hit this threshold before I deliver our proposal to the regional development office. Please direct three local residents to this page today so we have a larger list to present during our upcoming meeting with the zoning board.

We are an underserved Community with one grocery store. People come from a half hour away from New York and Vermont to shop at our One Price Chopper in Granville New York. This is an opportunity that should not be lost

A previous mayor was working on this and it was looking good. We need some competition. I go to the one in Rutland or Glensfalls at least once a week!

I know people who drive from Hartford-Granville area to Aldi's on Quaker Rd. An Aldi's in Granville is a smart idea. I shop at Price Chopper, but find some of their prices are expensive. Aldi has some good products and good prices on basic foods.

YES--- PC needs the competition. Aldi's prices are lower no matter which one is visited. If one visits a number of Prices Choppers? The price indexing changes store to store. Besides Aldi's hourly wages are on the plus side of $10. which is more then Prices Chopper pays per hour.

We definitely need a closer Aldi! We travel 45 minutes to get to the closest one and although we are spending money on fuel we save so much money on grocery expenses. Our neighboring town definitely could use another grocery store since most of the area is lower income. The existing grocery store that is closest to us is just too expensive.
