The hospital needs to stay as it is!
It's been apart of our community for decades!
Safe our hospital and we safe our community for our children and our grandchildren as they are the future of our town!

We need local services. The founders of the whole Mayo system were more for finding cures and treating the patients before anything else. Trust me I have read more stuff about the founding of Mayo and what their values were. This is not what their values would include. Treatment of the patient was their first priority. Let's start to get back to them values. Over the years everyone has gotten more worried about the money issue over the care of the patient. All the higher up money hungry employees are worried about cutting costs to pad their pockets instead of the treatment of the patient coming first.

I have family there and my parents are still there. I would not want them to have to go to Austin if it was an emergency surgery type of situation. They could die before they got there

This will just be a start more and more services for mayo will be taken away from all small towns forcing all seek medical care in Rochester or Elsewhere. They really need to think this threw more. Sure they want to make Rochester the place for medical care but it is not in the best interest of all patients to go their some people need more personalized care. The Mayo Clinic sight makes you feel like a number and it looks like a human factory setting not really caring about the individual and their needs

I am all for retaining hospital services in Albert Lea --- but with a different provider! We are not tethered to Mayo and we need to look at other options!
