I believe that there could be an hospital in every city and which lake mills uses our hospital also for emergencys they would have to travel farther for an emergency due to this issue with the Albert let hospital possibly closing

Albert Lea's hospital is the epitome of a joke! Doctors that just want you to keep coming back to pay more money, everyone is rude there and they don't try to help people. Web md is almost a better decion than going here

We need our local hospital staffed with GOOD doctors, nurses and other staff. If Albert Lea does not bring in the money Mayo needs, then they should sell the hospital to another organization that cares more for PATIENTS than MONEY. Maybe Freeborn County should take over and make our hospital a Regional Hospital. I would pay more property taxes and possibly additional sales taxes for Freeborn County to take over our health care.

I grew up in Albert Lea, graduated 1969. Without healthcare in the country, the city is doomed to shrink and whither as people will elect to live elsewhere.

Once you loose a service, it's just a matter of time before the decision makers figure out they can take other services away -- and before long we have a 2nd rate hospital/clinic! Let's not lose services in the first place!

Not having a hospital in Albert Lea will greatly put people at risk. People driving from out of town will have to go even further to receive the help they need. Which time can be detrimental to survival.

Just as a non- politician is now our President, citizens need to shape our community. Not overpaid administrators , foundations and politicians. Leadership with the people and future of Albert Lea for generations to come is needed.
