On September 18, 2014, the Albany Law School Board of Trustees will be voting on whether to move forward with considering an affiliation between the law school and the SUNY Albany. The idea for the affiliation, which originated at SUNY Albany, would or could provide some tremendous benefits.

Talks between Dean Penny Andrews, and SUNY Albany President Robert Jones have been on-going, although both are very much in favor with moving forward with this plan. As a member of the alumni community, your opinion is incredibly important as the law school is faced with this tremendous decision. This petition was created as a way to vocalize your support in a manner that is fast and effective ahead of the Board of Trustee's meeting. The results of the petition will be forwarded to the Dean and Chair of the Board of Trustees so as to represent the alumni community at the Board meeting.
