Pass this bill in it's original form. I'm sick of Alaska being the leader in all negative statistics. Nothing even addresses the sexual abuse by churches or Scouting groups that have happened in this state over the years.

We need to do all we can to protect our children and women in Alaska

Please pass the original HB 44 for the health and safety of all Alaskan youth!

It's about ALL kids. Bring back the original Erin's Law!!!!

Do the right thing. Restore the original HB44.

There are moments when our legislators need to set politics aside and do the right thing. This is one of those moments.

Please just do the right thing and sign this the way it was originally written and adopted by many states throughout our country. What is happening in Juneau this year?

Various policymakers in Alaska have asked me over the years what do we need to do to bring down our atrocious numbers? While law enforcement in all areas of Alaska is helpful, THIS- education of kids and teachers in the schools - is what will actually work to bring down the numbers of children who will not live with sexual abuse in secret and shame and become adults who are paralyzed and not thriving in our communities - for some, having even one shot at learning it's not OK and who to talk to could make a HUGE impact. This legislation is LONG OVERDUE!

Please, let's put the safety of all the children in our Alaskan community FIRST.

We need to do what we can to keep all of our children in Alaska safe. Obviously what is happening now, is not working. As a mother of three children, who will do anything to keep them safe, I am signing this petition in hopes that HB44 in its original form, will be passed.

child sexual assault, dating violence, all of those things, are easily preventable. The most important thing our children can learn and should learn in the classroom. Make this happen. Please help protect our children!

As a constituent of Senator Mike Dunleavy, I was very distressed to see the amendments he put forth changing the original text of this bill. Sexual assault is a huge problem in our state that should be addressed through good legislation.

I am in complete support of passing HB44 in it's original form, please pass this bill immedately!
