As a woman born and raised in Alaska I am appalled at the rate of violence against women and domestic violence in our state. Clearly we need to address this issue and allowing parents to opt out of the curriculum is a disservice to those children and teens. I support the bill in it's original form. Alaska's kids deserve the tools necessary to form healthy and safe relationships as much as the ability to read and write.

How can anyone with a conscience help block this much needed education for the safety of our children and grandchildren. Our elected officials are supposed to represent US not their own warped ideas. Senators--DO YOUR JOBS!!!!!!!

Having left Alaska, after living there all my life, I am certain if the laws pertaining to vilolance against women don't change I will never come back. Life in the lower 48 for women is wonderful and now that I understand this, my daughter's hopefully will leave Alaska also... Unless the law protecting women becomes tolerability better. Having been a victim of both domestic, sexual, and bad Alaska judges (who ignored both my children's and my need for help) my life was shaddered.

Everyone deserves the opportunity to understand what's actually happening to them. Everyone deserves the fighting chance to know when to step away and be strong enough to know what is happening is wrong. I want this law for my kids. And I especially wanted this law when I was young. We love you Moore family ❤️

I am embarrassed to be a third generation Alaskan, the brother of a murdered sister, and a homicide detective that our elected officials are so self centered and self serving they cannot simply do the right thing. Please stop the doing the wrong thing and pass the original Erin's Law as it was written and as it was intended.
