Schools need to teach the student body things like this, we could easily prevent further assaults.

This is very important for every school and every person in Alaska especially our children. I also believe that not just any person at the school should be able to teach such curriculum they should have specific training.

Our former governor Parnell jumped on a plane to go to a city when a young man was gang raped by teammates, he could have spent all his time on the road if he had been as aware of what happen to women in our state

I'm sick of the blind eye this state has turned to the issues it has with keeping its citizens safe. The statistic of 1 in 3 women being raped in her lifetime in Alaska has proven very true. In my family I am the 1 out of the three women. Act like you care about a third of your citizens and instead of trying to control them by adding bogus to this important law pass it to make a change in this state which YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO GOVERN. Do your job and make Alaska the safe, beautiful place I used to think of it as. This shouldn't be a question. Do your damn job.

It's simple. Return the bill to its original plan. We Alaskans are tired of being number one in the nation for abuse and rapes.

As Indigenous peoples, we must all take a stand with each other to change for-white only institutions and how rules/regs/laws never truly benefit our peoples...its sad that we have to point these out! We all stand together for change.

I think any legislator not onboard with getting this clean version passed is outing himself as an advocate of the sexual abuse of children & women.
