We the undersigned call on the International Olympic Commitee and other relevant bodies to restore the olympic bronze medal won by Alain Baxter at the 2002 winter games in Salt Lake City
I am currently preparing a formal letter to the International Olympic Committee outlining our case for the restoration of this medal. Post this link on your Facebook page and send a direct email to your local representatives to demand they acknowledge this injustice. We are not letting this fade away.

How was he to know that there was an extra substance added to what he assumed was a standard formula wellknown and used in the UK.

IOC demonstrate muddled inconsistent thinking and actions - time to apologise and return THE first medal won on snow to rightful owner.

Why hasn't the man who has Alan Baxter's medal been made to return it to its rightful owner? this problem should have been rectified years ago.

This decision has to be overturned - any reasonable person would see the original judgement was wrong and unfair.

When i heard the comments re "First" medal on snow i immediatley commented that it wasn't knowing the controversy about the non reinstatement of Alan. It was as if he'd been airbrushed out of existence

He was incredibly skilled to win the bronze on that day on that track. To be later cleared of all accusations, but not have his medal reinstated is just plain wrong. Its needs correcting.
