This Champion deserves his medal. It is shocking that it has been withheld for so long.

A disgrace that this quiet, honest man should be deprived of his medal on grounds which are now disproved; yet the IOC refuses to reconsider and, tellingly, to release his sample for independent testing.

Remember watching and was gutted for Alain when he wasn't given the bronze medal that he thoroughly deserved!

the alleged infringement has been resolved in Alain's favour. There is no legal, moral or practical reason why he should not be given his medal.

What an achievement it was. Mixing it with the greatest skiers of his generation week after week and holding his own. It was no surprise that he made the medal positions. Unjustly removed by a bunch of bureaucrats. Glad to see that the BOA backed one of their own for a change. Return the medal to its rightful owner.

That he was penalised for something others were allowed to get away with is shocking and unfair. Do the right thing

all British medals are important, let's not get in to the silly England/Scotland thing like some have on here. Alan was robbed, unfair. you are the 1st and always will be.

It's never too late to right a wrong and the relevant British sporting body should not rest until justice is done and his medal is officially reinstated.

Unjust decision in the first place
