I believe, Benni Raich, who came 4th, originally refused to accept the medal.

Alain won the medal that means so much to alpine skiing and ofcourse to him and his family! This needs to be returned to him as soon as possible

The IOC should be able to act when it has made a mistake.

As I understand it Alain used an inhaler as part of his pre run prep. The BOA medical staff should of checked the ingredients as they differed in the US to the European Vicks inhaler. Benni Raich offered the medal back to Alain therefore his peers did not view this as cheating through performance enhancing drugs. Common sense should prevail that a minority nation in winter sport had such a talent to win Olympic bronze. Stripping his medal for the offence was a total over reaction and if anyone should be sanctioned it should be the medical staff appointed to look after our athletes.

A wrong decision which should have been overturned years ago.

This was an unfair decision as far as I can see.
Time to right this wrong.
