Alain Baxter has a legal and moral right to his Olympic medal. In the context of all that has happened in international sport since 2002 - doping and other corruption - his athletic achievement stands out as having been wholly clean. Any error he made was inadvertent and irrelevant to the result.

should not have been taken and needs to be returned
Met Alain on a BASI course last year - he's a great bloke who deserves his medal back. If the committee change their decision, it would not only be due, but show a level of commitment to fairness and honesty.
