I taught Alain at high school. He's not a cheat.

It's been proved he's not guilty so it's wrong to with-hold Alain's medal

So unjust. His name has been cleared and so his medal should be returned.

Alain should be given the medal he won and those in charge should concentrate on disqualifying cheats.

Alain's medal should never have been taken away. There was never any suspicion of him cheating and he deserves to have the medal he won so brilliantly returned

Please give back this fairly won medal. I watched him win on TV at home in Scotland and he has always and, will always be, our first alpine medallist. Failure to give Alain Baxter his bronze medal is a loss for every honest athlete and a green light to real cheats who continue to enjoy their false medals and records, what kind of message is that to send ut to kids? For once, do the right thing by the Highlander.

This decision was simply wrong. Please review and reinstate a medal that was earned in an honest way.

Really tough on Alain. Didn't deserve that punishment. Make it right!

Alan Baxter is a true Olympian in every sense, unlike the hundreds of drugs cheats who still have Olympic medals around their necks

There is a great opportunity here to right a significant wrong!

Not only was Mr Baxter not guilty of deliberate doping even his mistake was not significant. His performance peaked at the right time (he'd already had his best season think) and chance put out some of the major competitors (out due to injury or mistakes in first run) leaving the window open for him. This is the beauty of Olympic events, a person seems to come from 'nowhere' and take a medal, why have we become so cynical that when it happens we think 'cheat'? And when shown not to be a cheat too cowardly to say he deserves his medal? Give it him and put his name on the records!
