i agree, the PFDs should be only for Alaskan born .

I was born in Anchorage AK 1961 I believe a true Alaskan should be born there!

I was born an Eskimo from nunivak island.
I moved
Out states back in 2005 and came back 2013 and I have to wait two year to apply for the pfd.

I was born and raised and worked in Alaska all my life. I moved to Washington when I retired from the State of Alaska due to medical issues. I left Alaska Oct 9, 2012. I was refused the PFD that year, I believe It should be paid to me because I was present up to that time I did not change my residency . I also believe I am entitled to future PFDs because I am an Alaska Native born in Alaska 1947, I did not move there for the PFD. People that just move up there for a few years should not be entitled to it. Please change the ruling. Thank you.

I think if you're born n raised should still be eligible I was born, graduate from there, left because I was in a bad divorce.....n where I lived the jobs are very few or seasonal, n was raising 4 kids as a single parent so I moved sad that I still consider myself ALASKA NATIVE. .. they should make some exception

I moved to WA 2008-2011 and while I was living in WA i witnessed non natives collecting dividends illegally! Not fare most thought I was an Asian ( full Yupik native) and when some people found out I was native they asked if I collected dividents and I replied " No" dome even said " just get an address and head back yo Ak when its time to apply!" I was shocked and asked" do you live in Alaska?" And got a no reply and I was informed people that worked for the government of Ak get pfds no matter what after retirement the whole family and never have to live in messed up Alaska!! I was like messed up? Of course I did not say much I was with a bunch of non natives!! Things need to change! They have Alaska USA banks in Seattle I wanted to see for myself on PFD day how bad it was and sure enough it was the busiest bank day in Seattle!! I asked a cppl of people "you live in Ak?" Response" hell no!"

I am tired of people that come up here and tell me they only spend 2 weeks in the winter so they can get the PFD.
