This is bull. I've been here since I was 4 years old. Alaska is and will always be my home. I own 2 lots of land here. One in willow, and one in the bush on the Yetna river that I will soon be building a cabin on. I am more Alaskan than 90% of people born here. This petition would be like saying that people who move to America to live the American Dream shouldn't be given American freedoms and rights. Once again, I say this bull.

What about the people who have been here since they were 3 or 4 years old and have grown up and Alaska is all they remember? The people who call Alaska their home. So all of us people who were brought here when they were so little they don't remember anywhere else are now no longer Alaskans? Those people who grew up here and spent their whole life being an Alaskan are nothing now because they weren't born here? I get you are trying to make it to where people don't only come here for the pfd but at the same time just because we weren't born here doesn't mean we aren't Alaskans and that we deserve a pfd less than the people who were born here

Not just Alaska born ONLY tribally enrolled Alaskans should be issued cause everyone will try to come have babies here ✌️

I am in total agreement that the PFD should be for alaskan born people. People are only moving here for this reason and having babies to get more. Its just not fair to us that were born and raised here at least we keep the money within our state and spend it here to where others send their money they get to mexico or the philipines etc..its not benefitting us in our local towns at all and then they retire move back to their countries and have new homes built and or spend that money there from where they are. I seriously think that if only born and raised alaskans got the PFD then maybe we all wouldn't feel bad letting go of some it to help with what ever needs to be done around our state.Some of the PFD could go towards helping here in our state and still alaskan born and raised would still get a good sum for living, paying bill, maybe even for some that never owned a home buy one.
