That's what should've taken place in the beginning of this Alaska "Permant" Fund, Meaning that people who were here from the beginning. And live here permanently. Plus, needing an original birth certificate showing the place of birth. I think it's time to start. For the sake of all Alaskans.

This is ridiculous. Some people have lived in Alaska for 10, 15, and 20+ years but were not born there. But, the pay to live there, contribute to their communities and take pride in being there.

This is ridiculous. I know men and women who have lived there for over 50 years and helped forge the Alaskan life as you know it. The vast majority of people who live in Alaska are not from there. To just proclaim that because you were born there does not solely entitle you to anything. Pick a better cause like help out veterans.

Cost of living is way too high. With people coming and going for 2 - 3 year contracts every year it takes away from the people that have always been here. I don't see how why coming here for a job should qualify you as an Alaskan resident.

This should have been done from the very beginning, just because of the PFD's a lot of folks have moved here.. Let's get these to just Alaskan born folks. Look at how many people defrauded the dividends after they have moved, hope you guys are doing something to close the them back.
