I moved here 10 years ago to start over in a place I've never been. I knew nothing of the pfd and saw it as a bonus to living in this beautiful state. While living here I was lucky enough to meet great friends and luckier to have met my fiancé (whom I have a beautiful son with). Living here these past years, I've noticed an increase in people moving here mainly for the pfd, which in my opinion is wrong. I'd happily give up my family's pfd if it would help to keep Alaska , Alaskan. It's changed so much in just 10 short years...

Having only Alaska born residents to receive PFD will probably lessen the influx of folks from other states and/or countries who had married Americans to become eligible for this free money. I used to have students from lower states tell me, they moved to Alaska so their parents can get rich.

I totally agree and have been saying this for years. We have people from all over the U.S moving up here just to get the PFD, and we are born and raised here and worked and helped to shape Alaska from day one.....
I agree fully

Tribally Enrolled should be the ones to recieve it and that the IRS should not take some from our children's dividend. Do our children need to apply for individual tax returns for the IRS taking from them?
