I don't live in Alaska currently but was born in Alaska and one day will move back. I may not get it while I'm away but I signed because I agree!

So ignorance paves the way 80% of people "born" here are from parents not born in this state. If this is the case then the child should have to pay everything back for "true" Alaskan fund. I believe that the person should be here for more than a year to get the divedend. 5 years if you make it that long than welcome to the family. This coming from a guy who has been here 9'years has two kids who are "Alaskan" and has been and worked further north in the winter than 90% of "Alaskans" citizens.

This is right because being born here I think is a privilege. Why should a person get my same benefits when I have loved here my whole life? If changed it should always ait s because given to the residents of 15 or more years.

Isn't part of the reason we have PFDs is because the price of living is so dang high? That's not about being born here, people that have lived here most their lives have to endure that too. I've lived here for more than 15 years, that's 3/4 my life.

I get really annoyed by people who knowingly apply for a dividend and then leave the state who had no intention to stay!

I vote for our PFD's to go to Alaska born residents only too!!!!! There are tooooo many people moving here to AK to get the PFD's and with so many of there family members too!!!!

I TOTALLY AGREE AND HAVE FELT THIS WAY FOR YEARS! I am born and raised in the fairbanks area, and can't stand how they just give our money away to military and whoever has been here for one year..most of them only stay for a couple years and they're gone again, with our money!
