It was supposed to be from the start that Jay Hammond should of said it's for all Alaskan Natives only and the shareholders of Alaskan's.

Lmao if this isn't the stupidest thing I've read. People wouldn't be there anyways if there wasn't the PFD. People move up to Alaska and stay in Alaska for the PFD. It's just like back then when the colonies had the headright policy.

I agree,but there is still way's around it. I say that they would have to have be born in Alaska befor the year 1999. I only say that because they probably just have a ton of kids.

Originally, I've heard, that it was suppose to be for true Alaskans. Not for families that move up here just to obtain five and six PFD's and then move away again.

I feel as though it could be altered to make the residency eligibility longer than a year. If those who make the move and commit to Alaska's progression, then they equally deserve recognition to being a productive fostered Alaskan.
