I highly support this. And agree 100%. Alaska should not be a bailout for (excuse me but it seems in most cases) bums to come and mooch off us collect welfare have 20 kids and soak up our pfd. Mayby it will help in stopping the flood of people filling up our great state. And give us back the Alaska we once had. I haven't looked up the stats but I could bet money the violent crime and murder rate went up right when immigrants and outsiders starred pouring in.

This is a very ignorant petition. I have been raised here my whole life from before kindergarten until now. I'll be damned if someone said I wasn't "Alaskan" hence when a person asks you where your from and you say you were born in a different city but raised in another then you are from where you were raised and born where you were born . Does that make sense? Lol

I just hope that population won't increase because people have more babies to get more money. Although, I do like the idea. It is not fair that many people "move" or "live" and "reside" in Alaska just for PFDs.

I've always felt this way ever since i was born!!! We true Alaskan's are just evidently being robbed!!! Forever & we shud even get our money back from fraudgilent humans... For over 40 years!!!

I disagree with this, you shouldn't have to be born in Alaska to be considered Alaskan and continue to get a pfd. My parents met in Juneau, but I was born in CA while my Dad was in law school, then my parents moved to AK permanently when I was 2 and started a life in Alaska and my Dad's businesses (Chuck E. Cheese, Hooters, and many others) helped build the economy. I've lived here ever since besides going to Idaho for college but I'm as much of an Alaskan as anyone born here, I've earned it by working and making a life here with my family. But I do agree there should be some new stipulations like you have to live and work here for a substantial amount of time before qualifying.
