I think should be for everyone not just natives
I and my family have paid taxes lived in Ak since 1973... I think it's not right to try to exclude a native group and not ethical to do so based on race;;
I'm tired of hearing this isn't WHITE MANS land and slit of the racial prejudice that's so blatant against WHITEfolks.. Yes things have happened in the past..
But I and family did not take anything away from anyone but have experience racism by me being noticeably white and having native children.. To seeing a large majority in small communities treat my kids and I poorly for me being their mom, white, to my kids being called half breeds!!! In several places in state but both were born raised whole life in Ak...
So to me I would go maybe 5 yrs must be a resident not 1 as some do live up here and leave.. But to me racism needs need go; no race is better than the other it's the person their choices on how they act live WORK, pay taxes that makes them entitled and length of time living in Ak
And no I don't feel someone is better than me since I've lived here my whole life

The Alaska permanent fund's should really be for Alaskan's who were born and raised IN ALASKA and can provide proof of it.

Too many non-Alaskans are stripping us of our annual PFDs and are always claiming to be "Alaskans", yet they move back down to the Lower 48s when they get their share of OUR PFD.

With 4 kids n single mother..living in this part of Alaska aint city life cheap. All things are expensive and so is travel. Should be for jus Alaskan born ppl. Not all Alaskans are drunk n srug users. The struggle is real in the rurals.

I believe that the PFD should be issued to those who live in Alaska for 5+ years most of our military that are not from Alaska but claim PFD rights are only a resident for up to four years. I agree that the PFD money should stay in Alaska which requires the qualifications to be changed.

I don't live in ak anymore but I was born and raised there. 17 years I lived there. This would be awesome if we could get this to work :)

I have always said if your not born here why do you get our beni's. I don't get native money because I'm white that's fine. Why should non Alaskan get alaska money...

I agree! So many people move their LARGE families here just to sign up for the PFD, I don't think they deserve them. They should be for Alaskans only, that have lived here for 10 yrs. or more.
