Where I whole heartily agree that the "residency" rules of 1 year needs to be longer I do not agree with the "Alaskan born" of this petition. I was born in Denver, CO and moved with my family to Anchorage in November of 1980 for my dads job, Before the PFD was being issued. I have lived in this beautiful state for almost 36 years and consider myself an Alaskan. I may have been born elsewhere but I am proud to say that I was raised Alaskan! I've had several opportunities to leave, but Alaska is my home!! I'll never leave!! I would fight my way to the front of the line to vote for a 10year minimum residency rule for the PFD. Maybe even a 5 year but I just can't support an Alaskan born ruling.

I agree that to be eligible for the Alaska permanent fund you should actually be an Alaska Native or decendent of an Alaska Native and be on the Federal roles.

I wished this a long time ago, for only residents born in Alaska to be getting PHD. It's only right this happens.

We as Alaskan Natives should be the only ones receiving PFD this is our land back to the beginning way before Cook got here.
