So living in Alaska and having children makes a person a resident. I been here 18 years and pay taxes here, I am as much a resident as a person born here. Go on somewhere with this petition. Im going to get a petition up for people who have been in Alaska for over 15 years to get native benefits including free health care

I was born and raised in Fairbanks. I moved to the lower 48 in late 2014, but I've always felt it should be Alaska born only!

I agree. More and more people every year move there because they know eventually they will get free money from the state. I feel as if being an actual Alaskan it's only fair, we are a part of the heritage and history.
