After years of students and teachers alike steaming beyond the capability of learning and teaching inside our classrooms, it's now time for air conditioning units in all classrooms across Glenwood High School and to end the years of suffering and dread. By signing this petition you are standing for a stronger fight on the student body's behalf, for air conditioning to be a main priority during the year of 2017, for the better of all students and staff.

The momentum behind this request for climate control at Glenwood High has exceeded my initial expectations. It is clear that the need for a comfortable learning environment is a shared priority for our community. We will maintain this focus as we prepare to present our case to the administration.

As a previous student who has been through 5 years at Glenwood high, I have, along with many other students had to withstand some truly tragic weeks in classrooms that have very little air conditioned rooms. Investing in properly airconditioned rooms will increase productivity and efficiency for students as it relieves stress and distraction from doing classroom activities For the sake of current and future students, please look into fixing this issue.

Extreme temperatures can easily cause students to be distracted from their daily work, some factors include exhaustion, dehydration and improper thinking. Therefore it's is important to include AC as a daily basis equipment to life, and I merely request for AC's at Glenwood High. THANK YOU

How much was spent on covering for the COLA that still gets wet when it rains? Money would be much better spent air-conditioning the classrooms. I don't work well in the heat, why do we think it's ok for our kids to bake in the heat?

It's 2017 people, let the kids learn without sweating. Would have been a much better decision than 'smart' whiteboards, how often are they used?

How can children learn or focus and be expected to do their best when it's so hot in the classrooms! It will effect their grades as they will feel so uncomfortable sweating in that heat. Ridiculous behavior. I'd be horrified if my child went to a school with no air conditioning especially on 40°+ heat!!!

Air conditioning should be a necessity not a luxury where there are masses of bodies in a small room. I would not expect any teenager (who most are easily distracted at the best of times) to concentrate on 33 degree plus days without air conditioning. With global warming heating things up and staying that way, air conditioners must be installed in all rooms, in all schools. And it's not just the students. The poor teachers are suffering in their work environment as well.
