We, the Berkeley Chemical Engineering students, oppose the amalgamation of Chemical Engineering 154 and 157. Furthermore, we also oppose the proposal to eliminate the requirement of taking BOTH Chemical Engineering 160 and 162. We feel that going through with the said curriculum changes will be detrimental to the education of future Chemical Engineering students here in the College of Chemistry, and that these changes will inevitably compromise the standards that make us a respectable and top notch institution.
