We need your help! The Atlantic Highlands Arts Council (AHAC) has a rare and unique opportunity. Takanassee Beach Developers needs to relocate the historic 1878 Boat House currently located at Takanassee Beach in Long Branch. And we want to give it a new and beautiful home right here in Atlantic Highlands! The AHAC would turn it into a valuable community resource - an art center and small museum. The proposed site is next to the Skate Park in the Marina on First Avenue.
The AHAC will be meeting with a Harbor Subcommittee to discuss lease details. We need to show that there is strong community support behind this project. That's where you can help. Please let the town know you support this project by signing this petition. Also, please forward it to as many Atlantic Highlands residents as you can.
