When there was a lockdown a staff member opened the door and told my kids you’ll cant come in we’re on lockdown
Why in the hell did she even open the door just to tell them that and not Worry about my kids safety

Considering that 61% of the students at SMHS are eligible for free or reduced lunch, more than half of your student body would be adversely effected by this policy change. Should a student arbitrarily be caught outside their classroom when the doors are locked, they risk losing potentially their only
meal for the day. Perhaps the tardiness is such an issue that the administration feels they need to take extreme measures, but removing lunch completely will be counter productive to the already struggling academics at this school. Don't create a policy that is going to cause more harm then good.
