Petition Against the Rezoning of Good Hope Road/Wertzville Road Intersection

As a former member of the Township's Planning Commission, I would suggest verification against the Township's Future Land Use Plan, which I am fairly certain would not show this land as commercial.

Please keep Hampden Township communities residential. I am not in favor of this zoning change. Thank you.

I am NOT in favor of the rezoning of up to 8 parcels on the SW corner of Good Hope Road/Wertzville Rd intersection from LDR to Commercial

Please keep Hampden township communities residential. There are ever dwindling opportunities for land.

This rezoning proposal to establish a small strip mall in our residential neighborhood should be rejected as unnecessary, and disruptive to traffic, causing noise, lighting, floodplain and crime problems. Only 3 of the 8 properties are in fact owned by the proponent with simply options to buy on the rest. That small space would be a good location for a green space ala the Wild Things presentation at the Planning Commission meeting on maximizing native PA plantings.

Too much traffic already

The intersection is already dangerous, we do not need more traffic.

Although not a resident of Hampden Township, I travel the intersection on a daily basis. I personally feel that the congestion is currently high without the addition of commercial traffic being added. This has been proven many times when I81 gets blocked

There has already been too much commercial expansion in the township. It's time to put on the brakes.

As a daily user of both Wertzville Road and Good Hope Road, I definitely oppose this change.
