Need more amenities before trying to raise. This is an unnecessary raise in hoa due fees. Especially when there is hardly anything out here to do

this price increase is ridiculous. We were promised so much when we bought a new house in 2012. NOTHING has been added or changed. There are now twice as many homes, so that means twice as many people paying HOA fees. WHY is this not sufficient to handle mediocre lawn maintenance and pool maintenance.

A 20% increase is absolutely absurd, the current HOA due is more than enough to have decent landscaping. Our current landscaping is pathetic. Where is our money going? I’ve only been a Verandah resident for one year and I’m already considering moving, as I’m sure many other residents are too. I have a long list of complaints; this community has the potential to be wonderful but I’m afraid the HOA board is only holding us back.

It is unconscionable to raise rates when you have not even provided what you promised homebuyers. I for one am a single mom and will not be able to afford them. Greed is the #1 evil in America.

I'm against raising hoa. Nothing different has changed for how to go up. No extra maintenance so why raise the fee.

If there was a yearly surplus from 2016, then there is zero justification for a rate inscrease unless amenities are going to be constructed that were promised.

This raise in rates is unwarranted. The number of people living in this community has nearly doubled in the last couple of years meaning the amount of dues collected by you has also nearly doubled. The common areas, that yall claim as the extended cost of mowing, has stayed the same. Yall are basically saying, “We’ve received double the income, are spending the same amount, and we want more!” Ridiculous.

This is not the way to do business. Please hear what us homeowners have to say and please respond to our requests as well as keep us included in any decision making as we are the ones living in this community!! Thank you kindly in advance!!

I live at the Verandah, Royse City. I have a hard enough time paying HOA every year as it is. Do you have any idea how hard it is to put aside money each month so that we can pay our dues???

I am against the raise in fee. They still have not kept their promises given when we bought our house. If they can't hold up their end why am I being charged more?

I think this is absurd. I also feel that this is unfair to residents of this community that aren’t allowed to take a vote. We already pay higher property & MUD taxes for our water. Please have some consideration for our families that we struggle to support & provide love & cothing for on a daily basis. Thank you

Essex is disgusting. We moved here with expectations to receive promised amenities. They are still being used as selling points. We aren't allowed to rent out our pool house because of someone else's mistake, the landscaping is ok at best, and that's just the start of our issues. I am very much against the raise in dues and will continue to find a way to get rid of them.

Nothing justifies such and increase the neighborhood had grown significantly since we moved here five years ago and no new amenities have been developed
