Against density > 1 house per 2 acres on Winns Church/Greenwood

Way to much traffic for the area to a aready dangerous intersection

Same story, different subdivision and/or warehouse. We keep telling our elected officials the same thing for the past 20 years: Our roads, schools, Fire and EMS are not capable of supporting the growth they keep approving. How about the developers build us a new school and a fire station and then we can talk.

The roads in Hanover County are already a disgrace! Getting to and from work now is a job in and of itself because of the amount of traffic on the roads. People are becoming more and more impatient and making dangerous moves to get ahead of the traffic. Enlarge and fix the roads before any new developments/businesses are built.

I agree people that live in the country they live there for a reason and it is not about Development go elsewhere to make your money on Development and that includes the person that is providing the land to do so

How will that many cars enter Rt 33 during rush hour.

Hanover has got to stop stacking houses on top of each other- it will be like downtown Richmond if we keep going this way.

PLEASE do not let this become the norm ! So much growth already here and roads can't handle it. Why would we want more cars and big trucks on these 2 lane road?

This is a very bad idea and we will refuse this all the way up the legal chains.

Wow, again the Elmont/Ashland area is ceasing to exist and it is quite troubling. The growth west is just unnecessary and is going to diminish the try Hanover feel. This spoken as a life long resident.

Please do not construct this building.

This is a rural area and should be kept as such. Increasing the density of housing would increase the negative impact on the local infrastructure.

There is a bad turn on Winn’s Church that makes this country road dangerous. It’s not meant for large amounts of traffic.

Please more land needed per house.

This area is country roads, narrow winding 2 lanes, often tractors moving to fields., lots of deer and wildlife, no stop lights. Adding a dense neighborhood in the middle of all this is a safety issue and not in keeping with the surrounding community. Bigger lot sizes, approx 2 acres, to reduce the traffic and infrastructure demands is more in line with the area.

My wife and I have enjoyed living on Winns Church Road for more than twenty five years. Adding the proposed 262 houses, each having around two vehicles per house, will likely produce 524 vehicles on the road twice a day during rush hours. This will not only take the joy out of lining in this community, but will cause safety hazards that are not acceptable. Winns Church Road is a narrow, shoulder-less road with hills and blind curves that was not designed for such heavy traffic. The number of vehicles entering route 33 will certainly require a traffic light which should not be paid for by the taxpayers of the county. Allowing such a development with the proposed density will be irresponsible.

We need to Activly preserve wild spaces first, and stop marching blindly into construction.. There is no new land.. Now is our only chance to preserve!
