This presents as a VERY DANGEROUS PLAN. !!!!
All business's LARGE OR SMALL in the Bathurst CBD RELY ON CUSTOMERS WHO CAN "DRIVE " and "PARK" their cars close to their chosen Retailer.
Do Not let traffic flow around this city be impaired. AND DO NOT LOSE VITAL CAR PARKING SPACES.

We need MORE car parking in the CBD. Not less. Orange NSW has shown that parallel parking in main streets is unsafe and impractical.

It can be hard enough to get a parking spot in town now as it is. There is nothing "masterful" about this master plan. Who ever designed this needs their head read. No doubt it's been designed by an out of town agency!

Small business has been hurt extensively from Covid-19. Less car parks would only create further damage. I don’t see the need to change from 45 degree to parallel parking. ‘If it ain’t broke don’t fix it’!

Bathurst already has a shortage of parking. This is going to make things difficult, especially for our elderly, not being able to get a car park close to where they need to go.
Local businesses were not told about this. Very sneaky

Bathurst does not have enough parking as it is. To take all those parks away is only going to hurt the businesses in the area. Also we do not need cycle ways in the main shopping area as it would be dangerous.

As a business owner on William Street, it is appauling that Bathurst Regional Council didnt consult with us or the other businesses along this strip, that this decision would affect the most. Sneaky!!
