Against Child Hunger: A Letter From Witney Residents

Your government are a absolute disgrace ... Children are starving in this country and you decide to take away something that will actually help their plight .. You and your MPs should be completely ashamed of yourselves

No child should have to be without food

How cruel are you? The hypocrisy of taking a large salary form the public purse whilst voting to deny food to hungry children is beyond words. Do you know what it does to a child's brain and overall development if they are malnourished? I suspect you don't. If you did , you'd realise how short sighted and counter productive this policy is. What are you trying to achieve in denying children the most basic of human needs. It's almost sadistic.

Robert courts should be thoroughly ashamed of himself, he wont be though, because he earns £80k a year and takes Russian money...hes alright jack

You voting against the free school meals motion was one of the most cowardly and cruel things you have done since you became the MP for this constituency! There is no way for you to explain away or justify your actions on this occasion! It was wrong, pure and simple! Not only did you vote against providing a hot school meal each day to hungry children during the mid-term and Christmas school holidays, you have been posing and posturing for publicity photographs in a local food bank! That is monumentally crass and utterly cynical! You should really consider your position now and urgently resign as an MP, and junior Minister forthwith!

I’m fed up with Robert Courts failure to act independently on various national issues. He seems to always toe the party line. I asked him recently to denounce publicly in the House of Commons, the government’s arms sales to Saudi Arabia and support humanitarian aid to the Yemen. His reply was most definitely the Tory party policy for the sales of arms world wide. It left me angry and frustrated. He clearly and unforgivably has no idea of the number of vulnerable children in his own constituency nor does he vote to satisfy his constituents on all issues related to Brexit. He’s a joke. Sorry for my rant!

You're doubling down so there is probably minimum chance that thia petition will have an impact on your ridiculous decision to vote against providing support to the families and children struggling to buy food. I wish it would. I would not be happier to be proven wrong.
