Against Re-Zoning to Apartments at Cactus & Reems Greer Ranch

Cactus Rd. cannot support the traffic that already travels this roadway. According so Surprise's own engineer's there will be no median put in for years. This means traffic will continue to be congested at the Reems/Cactus intersection even without the increased density that will certainly come from this proposal. Don't get me started on the increased crime that a denser population will bring. Surprise's philosophy of late that something is better than nothing is wrong for our city and definitely not what I signed up for when I decided to relocate my family to a city that I believed had the utmost potential. Listen to your constituents and do not approve this zone change.

No more apartments in Surprise. We have lots and f single family homes that can be rented. And apartments just don’t bring in the type of people we seek for this community.

When I moved into the community, that corner parcel was designated as a commercial property and I want it to stay a commercial property.

Do not allow apartments to be built on any plot of land that attaches to Greer ranch. Greer ranch PKWY and the overwhelmed neighboring streets can not handle the amount of excess school traffic this will bring to the school. Because the new students are within a 1 mile radius, they will not be eligible to be bussed in and will therefore create even more problems for the area.

This is a horrible idea and the residents who paid a lot of money to have their new $300,00+ house built would not like apartment/apartment homes!
