WE, in conjunction with (The American African Committee) MUST SEND A STRONG MESSAGE - THE LIBYAN WAR AND THE ASSASSINATION OF COL. MUAMMAR GHADDAFI IS NOT A LAUGHING MATTER, LET ALONE FOR A COMEDY. We reject the showing of the movie 'The Dictator', for it's inaccurate suggestions in the portrayal of Col. Muammar Ghaddafi, a true African revolutionary who in fact, was assassinated with the direct assistance of Western Powers. This movie is untimely because it will stir up violence and resentment for America sensationalizing the most violent regime change in recent history. This movie represents the insensitivity to the crimes against humanity committed by NATO. Libyans and African people worldwide, are to be appalled, insulted and highly offended, considering the true visions and aspirations of Col. Ghaddafi. This movie will trigger harsh sentiments from those who know the truth.
