The feedback from across the continent has been powerful because it proves we are tired of being sidelined in international decisions. I have been spending my time reaching out to student groups to ensure our message reaches the people who actually decide the future of UNESCO. Silence from the powers that be is not an option for us.

Seeing this level of support for Rachad Farah fills me with such pride for our continent. It is incredible to watch people come together to ensure that our perspective is finally felt on the international stage.

Why is Europe always against our progress?? This man has my full support.
Its about time we stop letting others dictate our future. Good luck rachad!
Lets do this. Africa deserves a seat at the table.
Finally someone from the continent who can actually represent us properly. It is time for a change at unesco.
