Uniforms ,in my opinion are a necessity...........affordable ones !!! It is in my belief that when the idea of uniforms were initiated it was for all the right reasons , but somewhere down the line it has all gone terribly wrong . It is about time that the people involved sat down re-evaluated this situation and found a solution to where all parents alike can afford to dress their child appropriately without the financial struggle . No child is less than any other and should not be made to feel so because of their parents financial predicament . They should not have to wear hand me downs or suffer consequences at school, by their peers or teachers , when all we want as parents is the opportunity to be able to proudly cater for our child's needs . Please help by signing this petition which will be passed on to the Chief Minister , Minister of Education and respective schools , to make them aware of our problem . Thank you .
