In light of the new additional charges for enrichment activities, almost forcing parents into paying an additional £42 per year per child; allowing parents to buy non-branded uniform would enable families to afford this without having to sacrifice other nice things for their children like out of school clubs &/or holidays.
Agreed. also requiring logos means that choice is limited as well. The uniform shops simply do no cater to all sizes and shapes. Also, children with special needs may have aversion to certain styles, materials or brands.

Prices for logo uniform is so much. Along with bag, pencils, pens, shoes, trainers, pe kit, coat, clubs, travel etc for a 2 working parent family is extortionate never mind single parent families and multiple children families.

The cost of a school logo on uniforms is an unnecessary expense to parents.

Especially P.E kits, why do they need a logo on. When kids play in tournaments they were school supplied kit.

This just seems a no-brainier for families of low to middle incomes & at a time of increased living costs, consultation over 4.5 day weeks in public schools-it seems self serving.
