Near-airport parking helps reduce vehicular traffic congestion at the airport. It's stupid and greedy to burden it with fees.
By the way, will shuttle busses that serve the rental-car lot also be charged the same fee?

So if the City of Phoenix starts to charge these off site parking services are they going to start setting up "toll booths" to charge people dropping off their friends, relatives, etc., at the airport. The charge is nothing more than a ploy to build up City coffers.

It's ridiculous to charge a surcharge for the cities mismanagement. It's not ok to tax in order to cover city mangment problems.

Typical bureaucratic BS. It's all about the money for Phoenix and nothing for the traveling public. But that's OK, Phoenix is simply like most of the big cities, run by bureaucrats and a democratic mayor. Tax, tax, tax. Get a grip voters.

If airport officials and Phoenix truly care about pollution, traffic flow and a better travel experience for customers, they would realize we all are in this together. Airport taxes and plane fees are way to high to begin with and city greed will ruin jobs, add to a bad flying experience, and add carbon pollution. Please rethink long term instead of quick money short term.

Phx parking officials are not the sharpest tools in the shed. They could make one to two million dollars buy letting SWA flight ops pilots and flight attendants park in terminal four but they won't just to show ridership numbers for the damn light rail. This should be exposed.

We would probably start flying from a different airport. Do not see why the airport would impose this fee
