I oppose any fee imposed by Sky Harbor airport. The airport is owned by the public and supported by our taxes. What gives the airport the authority to levy fees anyway?

This is an essential service to Phoenix travelers. This seems unfair to the small business owners, unreasonable for them, travelers/employees who cannot afford to pay airport prices and also want a safer option for long-term parking when on a trip.

SHIA has a responsibility to support local businesses. to impose a tax whose purpose is to shift business away from local companies is pure greed. are we to follow a path that will next have SHIA owning hotels?
I will continue to park at Preflight, it used to be convenience and customer service but now its a deeper decision. I will also boycott all employees from using SHIA parking lots.
Shia, you have a respectful responsibility to businesses that support you,,,,,, support them.

Implimentation of this fee would place an unfair advantage on the multiple businesses that provide an essential service to travelers. If you were really concerned about excess traffic entering the airport roadways you should institute a fee on EVERY VEHICLE entering the roadways not just those of the parking services. By using off site parking the actual number of vehicles on the airport roadways are reduced. This proposed fee is nothing more than a money grab by the city council.

No additional charges should be charged to off site parking lots. They offer a valuable service, feel safer than on site airport parking and are VERY convenient. Shame on the City of Phoenix.

You have to stop burdening us with fees. Let me keep my affordable option using the Parking Spot. I am not on an expense account.
