My electric bill has always been $187 month well this months bill is $485 I know Christmas was last month and I can understand that tree lights and decorations will run a bill up a few dollars!! BUT I DID NOT have a tree up nor did I have one Christmas decoration OUT! so where did I use any extra electric nowhere! And as far as my heat it is set on and never leaves 70 degrees.

The fees are what's killing everyone its not the cast of what we have used... The fees alone on my bill was $40.00 dollars for the month of Jan...

AEP is charging people more money during the holidays and when you call to ask why is your bill seventy dollars higher they simply say " well we figured that people would use christmas lights so we average it out and chargd everyone extra" Ok, so if I plug something up it will use powerand I will be charged and the same as the next person, so what the hell are we paying extra for if the person using the power is getting billed for it already. Ifthey feel like they sre losing money. Then that is on them. It is not my job to pay for whatever they think they are losing. Or is it in the contract I signed? If it is please highlight it.

I feel like costumers should be aware before hand of any increase and why! Not just getting a bill one day and it being $20 or more then what you normally pay. Then the costumers feel taking advantage of. These prices are getting out of hand! I never get a bill that my water is going up or my sewer, So I'm not understanding why the power company thinks it's ok for them to get raises all the time or just adjusting the bill to what ever they want!! People are struggling more now then ever to pay their bill's!
