Last summer I prepared for the winter by getting the house weatherized, which included extra insulation. Yet I got a 350 dollar electric bill during a month when it was most in the high 60's.

If they can estimate and base our bills on last year. We should be able to estimate how much we pay. We need other companies in here for competition

I live in southwest Virginia and I feel they can charge what ever they want because they do not have any competition in this area! Its not fair for us, the consumers! I feel AEP has a monopoly in this area and something needs to be done!

Power rate is getting to out of hand and we need clear cut answers and an in depth explanation. We are not "dumb hillbillies " like corporate greed assumes.

I have never had a bill go over $250. This month it was $325!!!! I never thought i would have to freeze i my home just so i coukd afford it.

My housebill triples every winter. It was 188.00 then doubled to 389.00. This month it was 491.00. My garage stays about 32.00. a month and we never use the garage electric. My husband draws disability due to a massive heart attack and when the electric bill is this high we just can't pay it all, then the next thing u know your getting a disconnect notice from them. They should give a person a chance to pay it off in payments.

AEP is taking extreme advantage in our area because there is no competition. Middle-Class Americans are struggling to make ends meet as it is, without adding a $400 electric bill to the mix.

The people that are on fixed income every month have to decide whether to stay warm or eat and get medicine. That is not our problem to pay for someone else's retirement.

Ridiculous electric bills. In the summer my bill was $80. The past few months it's been over $400 per month. It stays on the same temperature, I don't use washer or dryer and barely use stove a couple times a week, it's well insulated and no reason for these outrageous bills.

So many charges . Retirement driver and retirement rider . What are those for . I had a 46.00 dollar charge for retirement rider .
