They have no right to do this its hard enough try to find a job and pay the bill my family already struggle and raising the bills isn't going to help nothing it's just going to be even harder...

This is a prime example of a business having a monopoly and price gouging people for their last dollar. Electricity is not a luxury, its a necessity and AEP is exploiting for greater profits.

I am a single mother and this is just too much with my other bills. with me blocking rooms off trying to save electricity!! And my bill was still $259 with nothing but heat and lights and a few electronics (every now and then)

My electric usage was $130 after fees and taxes it went up to $345 how is that even possible????? Robbery!!!!!

They wouldn't make payments arrangements no matter what I did, our heater was broken when we moved in and we did not know it ran our bill up to 1400$ in two months and when I tried to call and figured out what was going on they had no sympathy. I finally found out it was our heater and still I told them I knew it was not their problem but could they work with us. Nope. That's one example. But they take advantage and because we can do nothing they continue to do so.

WHEN ON A FIX INCOME ITS IS HARD TO PAY A BILL LIKE THAT MY OLD PLACE I LIVE IN YOU COULD FILL THE COLD AIR COMING IN ALL OVER THE PLACE STILL MY BILL NEVER WENT OVER 240 DOLLARS A MONTH WHAT IS GOING ON DID EVERONE AT AEP GET A RAISE
